My daughter-in-law asked me to make an apron for her sister's birthday. I played around with a few different ideas and came up with this design.
I used some Mary Englebreit kitchen-y embroidery designs on the yoke.
I continued the log cabin strip theme on the pockets. I always line my aprons so I don't use binding around the edges - all the seams are enclosed. The double layer gives more protection as far as spills go, I think. I hope she likes it. Thank you for visiting today. Love, Derrith
Derrith, the apron is wonderful! Your embroidery is amazing and your quilting is impeccable! I have a christmas apron and pot holder/hot pad that matches it to finish for our daughter....maybe??? hugs, Betsy
