I started a new project today. I have collected these fabrics, knowing that someday I would put them all together, but have never decided on a pattern until now... |
Here is the pattern I will use. I decided to enlarge it to fit on a twin bed for one of my grand daughters. Therefore, I will need 20 full circle blocks to complete the quilt. |
Here is block #1. Just 19 more to go. Wish me luck! |
Today I received a Give Away prize that I won during the "Grow Your Blog" party. It is this beautiful hand knit scarf, made by Jan Yost of DreamChallenge. Thank you so much, Jan! |

Those fabrics and that pattern seem like a perfect match!
Congrats on all of the give-aways you won. I'm also a winner of three give-aways from the party. I received my first one this week. It was a lovely hand knit hat.
Have a wonderful weekend!
The quilt is sure to be wonderful - LOVE the fabrics. Congrats on the wins...the scarf is beautiful. I, too, was VERY fortunate in the "win" category during the blog party. I offered to let the givers draw new names, but we opted for "swaps" between us on all 4 wins...I've met some wonderful new friends. Wear the scarf proudly - I'm sure you look fabulous in it. Happy Weekend - Tanya
I'm so digging that scarf!!! It's beautiful... And your granddaughter is one lucky girl!!! That quilt is going to be outstanding!!! Good luck!!!
So much prettiness! LOVE your fabrics and that pattern is just perfect for them. Congrats on all your wins too, and enjoy wearing your scarf, it's lovely.
