The pattern is called "The Joy of Life" by Rosalie Quinlan. I changed the colors a bit...added in some blue to blend better with my living room colors. The finished size is 60 X 60. |
This was the first time I had used such a large variety of background fabrics. I do think it adds a lot of interest and movement to it. |

Derrith, it's just gorgeous! I love your colors and wonderful you were able to use what you had on hand. I love applique, too. Yours is wonderful. Love that pattern...geesh, i do not need another project but this is so tempting. I have a hand knotted rug i designed in college that's quite similar. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
