The Anchors Are UP!

As a birthday present to myself today, I finished the binding on my Anchor Quilt, sewed a sleeve on it and got it hung up. The quilter did a great job and I am very happy with it. My walls aren't really that yellow...I just get carried away with my photo editing software sometimes.

I you are fond of anchors and nautical style, check out "Coastal Style" on my side panel. I love her posts.

I momentarily considered quilting this myself on my sewing machine. I am SOOOO glad I decided against that. I had hoped to get it up before summer was over and it was time for a fall quilt, so I am pleased to have accomplished that. See you again soon, hopefully. Great, great quilt. Red, white and blue make the best quilts. Fantastic pattern.

I have not visited in quit a while and it has certainly been my lose. The good thing is, is that I can catch-up my going through your past posts :) I love this quit and those cherry dish towels would be perfect in my "new vintage" kitchen. Ha-Ha, that's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one. The kitchen is very "vintage", but because we just purchased this cottage bungalow this spring, it is very "new" to me :) I absolutely love your sewing projects. Now, I'm going to look at some more past posts.
Have a glorious day.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
